I’ve made it my mission to help people transform their lives from struggle to triumph.

Certified health & Life Coaching

My colorful journey to coaching

My origin path to becoming a health and life coach can be traced back to my early childhood, where I went through and survived various traumas. While some never make it out of the darkness, I had a determination deeper than my pain.

I realized one day my experiences had all been guiding me toward a life of helping others overcome their own fear and obstacles.

Meet Melissa

I’ve always worked with people, and this has allowed me to observe and learn human dynamics, something I’ve always been fascinated with.

My background in sales, legal admin, hospitality, and HR has played a significant role in my current profession as a certified Health and Life Coach.

My coaching certification programs equipped me with the knowledge and training required to help others in the areas of holistic nutrition and habit change, diet and lifestyle strategies, and uncovering powerful drivers in one’s relationship with food and body.

Frequently Asked Questions

Health and life coaching has really gained a lot of traction in the last number of years. Even still, there are still some fairly common questions that pop up regularly.

  • There is some soft overlap between coaching and therapy, however there are some significant differences. Life coaching primarily focuses on the present and future, aiming to help individuals set and achieve specific goals, while therapy explores the past, present, and future, aiming to understand and address emotional and psychological challenges.

I do not diagnose or treat mental health disorders; I concentrate on enhancing overall life satisfaction and success. I provide guidance, support and accountability, while you, the client, take an active role in defining your goals.

  • While you can start to feel some positive effects of coaching after just a few weeks, coaching through habit change is most effective after 12 weeks. Ninety days is the optimal amount of time to keep our motivation high while establishing healthy habits.

  • By providing personalized support for physical and mental well-being, you empower your employees to enhance their lifestyles and work habits. - Reinforcement of positive habits
    - Personalized guidance
    - Continuous goal setting
    - Building a trusting relationship
